Engine gears are core transmission components inside the powertrain. They precisely transfer torque between the crankshaft and camshaft and control the timing of valve opening and closing, directly affecting how smoothly the engine runs. Operating continuously under harsh conditions of high temperature, high pressure and alternating high-frequency loads, these gears have strict requirements for material hardness, tooth profile precision and fatigue resistance.

High-quality engine gears are made of special alloy steel and treated by carburizing and quenching. The process improves the wear resistance of tooth surfaces and reduces risks of abrasion and pitting during high-speed rotation. Precision grinding minimizes gear backlash, suppresses operating noise and cuts power loss during transmission. If gear tooth surfaces peel, deform or have abnormal clearances, valve timing will be disrupted, causing engine shaking and abnormal noise. Severe damage may even lead to sudden shutdown.

During equipment maintenance and part selection, components must match original factory specifications. Substitute parts with poor accuracy should be avoided. Reliable engine gears keep the valve system working steadily, extend the overall service life and deliver consistent and dependable power transmission for various power equipment.
